PinkHistory Special: P!nk on David Letterman over the years

The Late Show with David Letterman is an American talk show which was hosted by David Letterman. The final episode of the Late Show aired on 20th May 2015, so lets take a look back at Pink’s appearances on this show…

First up is Pink performing her hit Family Portrait from her second album Missundaztood:

In 2003, Pink performed Trouble on the Late Show in support of her third album Try This.

I’ve performed a few times on The David Letterman Show, but this was a special one. Pink and I had established great chemistry and the band was like a family. The music was a blend between Rock and Punk and a bit of Pop of course, we rarely used any Pro Tools (by choice) and we all sang backing vocals! It was raw and honest and she sounded amazing as always. A fun memory for me looking back, when Mr. Letterman came out at the end of the performance, pointed at me and said “how does he get that job?!” It went over my head as I didn’t expect him to direct a comment at me. Thank you Mr. letterman for many years of entertainment. I always thought you were a class act and you’ll be missed! … Rafa
